Marcee Harris writes in...
Here it is, Marcee. Your Bay Area classic:
And here's a bonus version of the song, performed by Lyrics Born right here in San Diego's Belly Up Tavern.
I'd like to dedicate the song, "Lade Don't Tek No" by Latryx to Jenna, Melanie and Rosalie. They already don't tek no and should continue as such...

For Arch Fuston and ActiveX
I want to dedicate the Rolling Stones' "Tumblin' Dice" to Arch Fuston and ActiveX who arranged for Superstar Gymnastics to be at the workout this weekend. The girls can't wait, and neither can I.

Another year, another challenge
Welcome back to my fundraising blog. Last year we raised $600 for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America as I trained for and competed in the Solana Beach Sprint Triathlon.
This year I hope to do Solana Beach again as well as the Challenged Athletes Foundation's San Diego Triathlon Challenge. That's a longer race in October. I rode the bike leg last year and got just a taste of what is a unique and uniquely inspiring event.
This year my goal is to raise $900 for Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run is an amazing program that offers
So... long story short, I'm trotting out the old gimmick alongside some other, new fundraising ideas. If you would like to donate to the cause and dedicate a song to someone, please click here and enter the details on my fundraising page. Thank you so much for your generosity!

"life-changing, experiential learning programs for girls age eight to thirteen years old. The programs combine training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goals of the programs are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development."I connect with this organization because of my girls and their mother, who is the woman I hope they become - and the type of woman whom I believe this program is striving to mold.
